Active components: 30mg of Codeine and 650mg of
Paracetamol.
Narcogin Forte is a drug that is used for the relief
of pain in different parts of the body.
Common Uses:
Narcogin Forte is a drug which contains codeine 30 mg
and Acetaminophen 650 mg. Codeine is an opioid analgesic which central effect
is not very intense, that is to say 5 to 10 times smaller than the effect of
morphine. The advantage of codeine compared to another opioid is its lesser
effect on the respiratory system. The level of
addiction is also lower.
The combination of codeine and paracetamol is causing
an analgesic activity slightly higher than each of the two compounds
individually.
Narcogin Forte is used to treat painful conditions in
adults (this form). Moderate pain not responding to the use of peripheral
analgesics.
How to use:
· Prolonged use of this medicine in high doses may
cause dependence
· Be extra careful during pregnancy (do not use during
the first quarter, near the end and during breastfeeding)
· The drivers of motor vehicles or dangerous machinery
should drive with extra care
· May cause danger for chronic alcoholics who have a
heightened sensitivity and risk to get an overdose with paracetamol
· In the athlete, there is a risk of positive result
of doping control
Warning and Precautions:
The patient should not take this medication if he has:
· Allergy to codeine or paracetamol
· hepatocellular disorders
· Renal Failure
· Phenylketonuria (because of the presence of
aspartame)
· Respiratory insufficiency.
Storage conditions:
Codeine should
be kept at a temperature 15-25С. The medicine should be kept in a place
unreachable for children. Shelf life: 3 years.
